Maple Knoll Village Hosts Unique Forum

This past Saturday, Maple Knoll Village hosted the Alzheimer’s Association African-American Caregiver Forum! The event featured an expert panel discussion addressing caregiving issues and provided helpful resources that are available to alleviate the stress on a caregiver. The 140 individuals in attendance had an interactive conversation about caregiving and shared their own very helpful tips with one another.  Did you know,  in 2016, 15.9 million family and friends provided 18.2 billion hours of unpaid assistance to those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, a contribution to the nation valued at $230.1 billion!
