Sycamore Senior Center to have open house

The Sycamore Senior Center, located in Blue Ash, is proud to be a focal point in the community for older adults. With over 2,600 active members the Center is a thriving place with countless education, social and recreational opportunities. Unfortunately, many older adults in the community have no idea that joining the Sycamore Senior Center is an option for them.

On March 18th, Sycamore is opening its doors to those in the public to show what they have can offer older adults aged 55 and older. From 9am-1pm those in attendance will be able to familiarize themselves with the Center, meet staff and instructors, take a tour and meet new friends. Light refreshments will be provided from 9am-10am and the café will open for lunch at 11am.

The Sycamore Senior Center’s mission is to stand as a foundation for older adults to live their lives with independence and dignity for as long as possible in their own homes. Center programs include education, health screenings, exercise and wellness programs, travel, social activities, computer training, a café and a nutritionally balanced, low-cost lunch program for seniors. Sycamore offers an award winning volunteer program and outreach services support homebound senior citizens. These services include providing transportation to the senior center, to medical appointments and to therapy visits. Sycamore also provides a volunteer driven meals on wheels program that delivers over 300 meals each day to the homebound elderly in 17 communities.

No RSVP is necessary to attend the event but for more information please contact the Center at 513-984-1234 or http://www.SycamoreSeniorCenter.org.Building Outside Shot
